TIFGALOP One-Year Limited Warranty and Replacement Procedure and Liability Policy

bikes and scooters are protected by our manufacturer’s 1-year core component (battery, motor, motor controller) warranty against manufacturing defects in all core components.

Please refer to the warranty policy of the platform or the purchase store. For more details, please contact the seller to confirm the specific terms.

*Please note: This website only accepts from Tifgalop.net The real purchase.This means that if you purchase a product from another seller (such as Amazon, etc.), you should follow the warranty policy of the purchase platform.

 

  1. Warranty Period and Target Audience Terms

 1.1. The warranty will be automatically registered when the initial purchaser orders in the online store. Therefore, the warranty belongs to the initial purchaser and the 1-year warranty will start from the time the initial owner receives the product.

 1.2. As for warranty transfer, the electric bike and electric scooter transferee can only enjoy the warranty if both of the following conditions are met:

The 1-year warranty period has not expired since the original owner received the product.
Have the name of the initial owner and the initial order number.

If the order number and the name of the initial owner are not provided, no warranty will be provided.

 

  1. Warranty Procedure

 2.1 All TIFGALOP bikes and scooters are covered by a one (1) year warranty from the date of receipt, covering manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship (excluding all free accessories).

 2.2 TIFGALOP will replace any part that is defective or damaged in material and/or workmanship (including damage during shipping).

 2.3 TIFGALOP shall have the sole discretion to determine whether damage or defects to the e-bike and e-scooter or the warranty part are covered by this limited warranty.

 

  1. Warranty Claims

 3.1 If you believe there is a warranty issue with your TIFGALOP, your first point of contact should be the official website or online retailer from which you purchased the bike. Any warranty request requires proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product. Before making a warranty claim, we recommend that you contact us at support@tifgalopbike.com as there may be a solution for your issue. Valid warranty claims will be processed by TIFGALOP and are valid for 1 year from the date of original retail purchase.

 3.2 TIFGALOP will not ship any parts to customers without inspecting photos or videos of the damaged product. Customers are required to provide us with evidence via email.

 

  1. Shipping Damage Claims

 4.1. In rare cases, products are damaged during shipping. In case of shipping damage, please contact support@tifgalopbike.com and provide us with photos or videos.

 4.2. If scratches occur during shipping, all free accessories will not be replaced or compensated.

 Note: We only accept shipping damage claims within 14 days of receiving your e-bike and e-scooter.

 4.3. If the scooter/bicycle is damaged due to shipping, please contact support@tifgalopbike.com within 7 days of receiving the product. If the damage occurs after 7 days, it will be deemed as the customer's responsibility.

 

  1. Warranty Items

 5.1 Frame

TIFGALOP e-bike and e-scooter frames are warranted for one year from the date of original retail purchase. Defective frames can be replaced with new frames, which are covered by the limited warranty, but the labor cost of frame replacement is not covered.

TIFGALOP reserves the right to use scratched and dented inventory when replacing frames under this warranty. TIFGALOP may replace defective frames with the same or closest frame at its sole discretion.

Frame issues not covered by this warranty include, but are not limited to:

Corrosion

Paint fading, scratches, impact marks

Impact damage

Irreversible modifications (drilling/welding)

Mounting the chain guard to the frame, if applicable

 5.2 Battery

TIFGALOP batteries are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

During the 1-year service period - defective batteries will be repaired or replaced at no charge to the customer. The warranty period for repaired or replaced batteries remains the same and is based on the original purchase date.

No cash compensation will be provided.

Defective batteries will be evaluated by TIFGALOP at its own discretion.

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

Defects or damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the product), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquids, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;

Scratches, dents and cosmetic damage unless caused by TIFGALOP;

Products with serial numbers or bar codes removed, defaced, damaged, altered or illegible;

Normal wear and tear;

Defects or damage to the product caused by the use of accessories, products or auxiliary/peripheral equipment not supplied or approved by TIFGALOP with the product;

Defects or damage caused by assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair or adjustment different from the assembly instructions and user manual;

Defects or damage caused by external causes such as collision, fire, flood, storm, lightning strike, earthquake, exposure to severe weather, theft, blown fuses or improper use of any electrical equipment.

Products used or purchased outside the USA/Canada;

 

  1. In addition, for batteries, this limited warranty does not cover the following defects or damage:

 6.1 Defects or damage caused by charging with a charger not designed or suitable for the battery or improper use of the battery charger;

 6.2 Any seal on the battery is broken or shows signs of tampering;

 6.3 Batteries used in other equipment (not bicycles);

 

  1. Parts and Components

 Original TIFGALOP parts and components are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. Man-made damaged parts are not covered under warranty.

 The bicycle owner will be responsible for the shipping costs of the warranty spare parts.

 This limited warranty does not cover:

 7.1. Damage caused by normal wear and tear (not caused by defects in workmanship or materials) is not covered under warranty. Wear and tear will be assessed by TIFGALOP. Parts not covered include, but are not limited to:

 (1) Brake pads

 (2) Rotors

 (3) Spokes

 (4) Tires/tubes

 (5) Chains

 (6) Chainrings

 (7) Cassettes

 (8) Cranksets

 (9) Corrosion of electrical components is not covered.

 (10) Damage or deterioration in the finish, appearance or aesthetics of the product.

 (11) The Limited Warranty is expressly limited to replacement of handlebars, seatposts, saddles, brakes, lights, cranksets, pedals, rims, flywheels, cassettes, derailleurs, shifters, wiring harnesses, brackets, reflectors and hardware that are defective (in material and/or workmanship).

 

Labor costs for replacement parts.

Defects or damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing or other similar activities not consistent with the product's intended use), improper storage, improper exposure to liquids, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.

Scratches, dents and cosmetic damage not caused by TIFGALOP.

The serial number or bar code of the product has been removed, defaced, damaged, altered or made illegible.

Defects or damage to the product caused by the use of accessories, products or auxiliary/peripheral equipment not supplied or approved by TIFGALOP.

Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair or adjustment in a manner different from the assembly instructions and user manual.

Defects or damage caused by external causes such as collision, fire, flood, storm, lightning strike, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuses or any improper use of electricity.

Products used or purchased outside the United States/Canada.
