Warranty Policy
Tifgalop Unified Warranty Policy
This Warranty Policy applies to all electric riding products manufactured and sold by the main Tifgalop brand and its subsidiary brand, Cleytro. Both Tifgalop and Cleytro products are manufactured to the same high-quality standards and are backed by the comprehensive warranty coverage outlined below.
1. Warranty Coverage
Electric bicycles and electric scooters under both the Tifgalop brand and its subsidiary brand, Cleytro, are entitled to the same high-quality warranty coverage as Tifgalop-branded products.
2. Warranty Period
- Core Components (1 Year): A 12-month warranty period is provided, effective from the date of receipt. This covers the battery, motor, and controller, providing protection against defects in manufacturing and materials.
- Non-Core Components & Accessories (4 Months): A 4-month warranty period is provided, effective from the date of receipt. This covers components such as the display screen, voltage lock, switches, frame, handlebars, lights, turn signals, tires, etc.
- Promotional Gifts (3 Days): Coverage is limited to cases of severe damage or loss reported within 3 days of receiving the shipment. Minor scratches are not covered under this warranty.
3. Warranty Details
Subject to the following conditions, we will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace any component confirmed to be defective:
- The product has been used for its intended purpose (commuting/recreation).
- The defect is an inherent flaw in the manufacturing process itself, rather than one caused by external factors.
4. Specific Exclusions
Warranty eligibility for Tifgalop and Cleytro products is automatically voided under the following circumstances:
- Normal wear and tear (e.g., surface scratches, worn brake pads).
- The product is used for commercial purposes (e.g., rental services, delivery services), unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties.
- Product damage resulting from "stunt riding," jumping maneuvers, or off-road use that exceeds the vehicle's rated performance limits.
- Damage caused by improper storage, exposure to liquids, or corrosion.
- The user has performed any form of modification to the speed controller or electrical system (e.g., "speed limit removal").
- Damage sustained by the product due to high-pressure washing or submersion in water is not covered under this warranty.
- Products where the serial number/barcode has been removed, altered, or rendered illegible.
- Damage caused by external factors such as theft, collision, fire, water damage, or natural disasters.
5. Warranty Claims
To file a warranty claim for Tifgalop or Cleytro products:
- Proof of Purchase: Please retain your original invoice or order confirmation.
- Submitting a Claim: Please contact our After-Sales Customer Support team at [support.eu@tifgalopbike.com], or contact the authorized dealer from whom you purchased the product.
- Visual Evidence: Provide a detailed description of the issue, along with clear photos or videos of the malfunction, to assist our technical staff in performing a remote diagnosis.
